Trail Conditions:
North East Michigan completed one of the lowest snow fall in many years. Without Black Mnt. the region would have had very little available ski opportunities. Planning begans for next season at the upcoming spring meeting on 4-9-10. Come on in and join in the plans for next year!!

LOWEST SNOW FALL IN MANY YEARS FOR THE NE MICHIGAN REGION,PROVIDING MINIMAL SKI GROOMING OPPORTUNITES FOR TBTA.

Trail Locations:
Alpena Golf Club Trails - Golf Course Rd., Alpena. Trails groomed when snow conditions allow.
Black Mountain Recreation Area - Cheboygan County near Black Lake - County Rd. 646 from U.S. 23. Trails groomed after each significant snowfall by the MDNR and TBTA Black Mountain Chapter. Trail Map.
Chippewa Hills Pathway - 11 miles south of Alpena off Nicholson Hill Rd. Trails groomed after each significant snowfall by the TBTA.
Norway Ridge Pathway - 3.5 miles south of Alpena on Werth Rd. Trails groomed after each significant snowfall by the TBTA.
Ocqueoc River Pathway - 12 miles W. of Rogers City. Trails groomed after each significant snowfall by the MDNR.
